Assuann, ComaÂs (Shai Yechezkely) third album, marks a turning point in the artistÂs development as a musician. The minimal sound, that has characterized ComaÂs work so far, is replaced here by dozens of channels, numerous samples and instruments. The raw, somewhat dissonant sound that marked the last two albums has made way for orchestrations and a tight production. Assuann moves between punk and ambient, between metal and Middle-Eastern elements, acoustic and electronic  fluctuations that can occur within the space of two musical bars. The new recording method enabled Coma to expand his musical horizons and create an album that moves on the seam between mainstream and Avant-garde. It is a very personal creation that exposes an internal world both disturbing and fractured, yet extraordinarily rich in its musical creativity.
